Calling all you dads and dad figures out there. Coming up soon is YOUR day! You know, the day we get to celebrate you. You know you LOVE being at Walt Disney World, whether it is singing at the top of your lungs at the Frozen Sing-a-Long or maxin’ and relaxin’ on the Tomorrowland Speedway. Disney with your little (or big) ones is super special to you. So, this Father’s Day, or the next time you venture to the Walt Disney World Resort, here are a few things that you might want to try.
For the Adrenaline Seeking Dad:
Thrill Ride Day! Grab a park hopper ticket, make your park reservation, and park hop to all of the thrill rides that dad wants to ride. In. One. Day! Sure, it might not be possible to ride ALL of them but doing three or so per park would be a run experience. Don’t forget to plan an interesting lunch, because an adrenaline junkie dad is not going to just want chicken tenders and fries.
For the Brewski Drinking Pops:
EPCOT is easily the best Disney Park to find the largest selection of beers. Yes, Disney Springs is another fabulous location, but plan a day to taste the brews around the world in Epcot World Showcase. Eleven countries make for eleven beers and yes, you are going to want to try them all so our suggestion, is to split them so you can enjoy your day, or rather remember it. Here is another tip – spend the ENTIRE day splitting up your brewskies, definitely do not rush them! And hey, don’t forget to grab some grub while you are tasting your way through Epcot World Showcase.
For the Darth Daddy:
Disney is all about innovation and uses the latest technology to build new attractions. For the dad who likes keeping up with the most recent techie trends, you will want to grab Darth Daddy a reservation at Savi’s Workshop to let dad build his very own lightsaber!
For the Nom Nom Pops:
You are in luck! Walt Disney World Resort has hundreds of food options at the parks, resorts and Disney Springs. As the date gets closer, some restaurants may even offer a special meal or menu item for Father’s Day.
