It is the holiday season and Walt Disney World is bursting with ways to celebrate the festive season. Yes, things in 2020 will look a little different, but the Walt Disney World Resort is rolling out some incredibly special experiences for their guests this holiday season. Looking a tad different but feeling just as magical will be Epcot’s International Festival of the Holidays. This year the festival will be called the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays, with many popular experiences returning and some taking a backseat until next year. The festival features holiday traditions and food from cultures around the world and begins November 27th and will run through December 30th with holiday kitchens, activities, entertainment, and beautiful decorations.
Holiday Kitchens
Our favorite way to enjoy the Taste of Epcot International Festival of the Holidays is through the food and treats scattered throughout the park. This year, we can expect 20 festive locations that will operate daily from 11am to 9pm.

Holiday Cookie Stroll
Later gators, we are headed on the Holiday Cookie Stroll. This fabulous “scavenger hunt” features five holiday cookies from around the World Showcase! Grab a passport, purchase a cookie (make sure you get your passport stamped) and once completed, return your passport to the Sweets and Treats Holiday Kitchen for a delicious surprise. Do not worry, you do not have to finish your cookie stroll in one day if your sweet tooth has had enough, just do not forget to bring back your passport.

Entertainment
Tis the season for some fabulous entertainment. Guests visiting Epcot will have a few special holiday performances during their travels. Enjoy the Voices of Liberty and Mariachi Cobre at the America Gardens Theater. Both entertainment selections will have holiday themed entertainment. Head on over to the Mill Stage in the Canadian Pavilion eh! You can find the holiday appearance of Epcot’s percussion show, the JAMMitors! Back by popular demand is JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season makes their return to Epcot with daily performances of Gospel, R&B, and holiday songs at the Showplace Stage.

Characters
There will be some special cavalcades that will be making their way around World Showcase. You will find the Mickey and Friends World Tour, the Frozen Promenade, Princess Promenade, and the Santa Clause Promenade.
Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition
What better way to start off the holiday season at Epcot than with the brand-new Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition? This is a festive quest around World Showcase where you hunt for the holiday traditions that Olaf has gathered and well, lost. Purchase the map, search for traditions and once completed you will receive a special gift.
We hope you get to experience Epcot Taste of the International Festival of the Holidays this year! Enjoy those cookies y’all.
