Know Before You Go!

In just a few short weeks, Walt Disney World will be having their magical re-opening! We for one, cannot wait to walk “right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A.”. For so many Disney fans out there, the anticipation re-opening has been on of minds well… since March 15th. For other Disney lovers out there, who prefer to travel later this year or into 2021, know we will be by your side to assist you. So, when you are ready to book, we will be ready for you.

Though attractions and entertainment at Walt Disney World theme parks may look a little different than in the past, there will be plenty of magic for everyone to enjoy when the Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park open on July 11th, 2020, and EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios opens on July 15th, 2020. So, before you travel, we think it is best for you to “know before you go”, which might help you decide when returning to Walt Disney World will be best for your family.

Ohh…It’s Important to Know!

Enhanced Cleaning: Enhanced cleaning procedures will give extra attention to high traffic areas, including benches, tables, restrooms, handrails and more. In addition, housekeeping services will be modified at the resorts to reduce contact.

Physical Distancing: Physical distancing makers, barriers and shields will assist guests and cast members to ensure health and safety.

Transactions: At this time, it is recommended that most, if not all transactions be cashless if possible.

Park Reservations: Staying at a resort, will not guarantee entrance into the parks. In order to maintain smaller sized crowds, Disney will be requiring a park reservation for entrance into the park. Unfortunately, currently, park hopping is not available.

Face Masks: Guests ages two and up are required to wear a face mask that always covers their mouth AND nose, except for dining or swimming. Face mask teams will make sure that the masks are worn properly throughout your visit.

Cover Your Nose AND Mouth!

Temperature Screening: Contactless temperature screenings will take place prior to entering the parks or Disney Springs. Guests with a temperature of 100.4 will be redirected to another rescreening. If temperature remains 100.4, the guest will not be able to enter.

My Disney Experience: My Disney Experience will be available for many of your needs in the park. Once in the park, you will be able to make attraction reservations, as Disney’s Fastpass Plus system is not available for reservations prior to entering the park. In addition to fastpasses, guests can mobile order quick service location meals.

Dining: Dining reservations can be made 60 days prior. Please know that dining experiences continue to change. Be mindful that character dining will be modified and is currently open at only Topolino’s Terrace and The Garden Grill.

Most attractions will be available at each park, and if you are hoping to see some familiar friends or take in the tunes of treasured performers, you are in luck! Disney characters will appear in new and different ways that bring a smile to your face while also being mindful of physical distancing. There will be special cavalcades down the Magic Kingdom Park parade route and friends sailing the waterways of Disney’s Animal Kingdom. You can enjoy processions along the World Showcase promenade at EPCOT and motorcades on Disney’s Hollywood Studios Hollywood Boulevard. You never know when a party of your pals may come by, so be prepared for plenty of surprises!

We hope you can see that while the experiences will be different, the magical will still be there. We look forward to coordinating your future magic.
