We are just over a month into 2020 and already we are thinking about the HUGE changes the Walt Disney World Resort has coming in 2021. But… let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Those of you wishing to travel to Walt Disney World in 2021, NOW is the time to start planning. Typically, packages are released in early summer and with all that Walt Disney World has in store for 2021, you are going to want to be prepared the day those packages are released, or you might be visiting in 2022 instead. That might be a slight exaggeration, however 2021 will be a popular year to visit so if you are the least bit curious – we got your back.
Right now, Walt Disney World has some pretty magical promotions released for early – mid 2020 packages. So, if you are looking to save, now is the time to travel. If you are the least bit curious as to why, here are some of our top reasons, but once you visit for yourself – we are 100% certain that you will have your own reasons.
NEW! Yes, while 2021 has a lot of “new” coming, 2020 has some pretty awesome tricks up its sleeves as well. Epcot is bursting out their new with movies and nom noms. Canada Far and Wide, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along and Awesome Planet are already pulling in the crowds while Wonderous China will awe Epcot guests later on this year. There is major anticipation with the opening of La Crêperie de Paris Restaurant, Space 220 and the Regal Eagle across the park and we can hardly wait to try what they have in store. Still in Epcot, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Harmonious are putting on the finishing touches to dazzle guests in just a few short months. And for the kid in all of us, Disney’s DuckTales World Showcase Adventure will be looking for recruits soon. And let’s not forget about all the fabulous festivals Epcot has to offer, shall we?
Heading on over to Disney Springs, Cirque de Soleil is opening Drawn to Life, a new show celebrating animation and imagination. And for those of us who are always hungry when we visit Disney Springs, Beatrix and our favorite ice cream, Ample Hills is anticipating their openings sometime this year.
Did you know, Hollywood Studios has more than just Star Wars: Galaxies Edge? The Mickey Shorts Theater will open later this year along with Rodeo Roundup BBQ a new table-service BBQ restaurant in Toy Story Land. Now, you will not only play big, but you will eat big as well. And for our fellow Mickey and Minnie Mouse fans out there, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will be opening in just a few short weeks. This is monumental as the Big Cheese himself, finally has an attraction dedicated to well – him.
So yes, there is a ton going on across Walt Disney World as well as Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line. The best thing about a Disney Destination vacation is that they are never the same and always, always changing. Let’s get started on your planning now and grab you those awesome promotions. See ya real soon!
