When the Disney Parks do Christmas they truly DO Christmas! From Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom to Epcot International Festival of the Holidays and now the Christmas celebrations at Animal Kingdom, Disney does not leave any magical stone un-turned. One of our favorite parks to celebrate the joys and feels of Christmas is at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The hustle and bustle of old Hollywood mixed with a 1940’s Christmas twist is just the perfect way to say Merry Christmas. Seriously. Stand on the street, close your eyes and listen. Do you hear Dean Martin singing to you? We do. Anyway – if you are looking to “feel” Christmas, then you have to visit Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
While they have some pretty magical ways to celebrate the holidays, we want to focus our attention on Sunset Seasons Greetings! As nighttime falls, The Hollywood Tower Hotel is transformed into a magical Christmas spectacular. During Sunset Seasons Greetings, the tower is blanketed by Christmas fun scenes such as gingerbread, carolers, and even your favorite snowman to share holiday wishes.
That’s not all… Billboards and lighting along Sunset Boulevard come alive. Projections of Mickey, Buzz, the Swedish Chef and even Lanny and Wayne as well as other beloved Disney characters share their favorite Christmas stories. A snowy Sunset Boulevard twinkles with stunning holiday decorations and of course … snow!
So whether it is 80 degrees or 60 degrees grab a cup of hot chocolate and head on over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to enjoy Sunset Seasons Greetings. We will see you there. Merry Christmas!
