This year marks the 8th year that an absolutely amazing chocolate Easter Egg display will fill the lobby at Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The bakery team led by pastry chef Kristine Farmer puts on a magnificent display of art and craftsmanship. This team has been hand decorating Easter Eggs for over 24 years! The eggs are completely made of edible products and weigh in at 9-12 pounds and are 16-20 inches tall and take about 3 weeks to fully create. The Easter Eggs are on display through April 28th! For the last several years, we have made annual trips to Walt Disney World Resort® over Easter. We are so excited to be heading down tonight and can’t wait to see this amazing display during our vacation! Take a peek at some of the Easter Eggs that were on display last year.

If you are looking for a little break from the parks or something to do after park closing times, this is a fun activity for all. Conveniently located on the Monorail route, it’s very easy to stop over at Grand Floridian and check out these works of art. We highly recommend it!
