The Norway Pavilion is set up to resemble a town square which includes cobble stone roads and a 14th century fortress that is thought to resemble one found in Orso. You can also find a stave church which will transport you back to medieval times. You will be immersed into the beauty and rich culture that Norway as to offer as soon as you step foot into this exciting pavilion. We can’t fail to mention the influence the hit movie Frozen has had here. From attractions to meet and greet’s the strong presence of this smash hit movie is evident all around!
Attractions
Replacing the beloved Maelstrom is the fan favorite Frozen Ever After. While the track work is the same, the entire ride as been transformed to take guests directly into Arendelle. Of course all of the main characters are you to take you on this exciting adventure. You won’t be disappointed with this family friendly ride featuring the iconic song “Let It Go”.
Elsa and Ana Meet and greet at Royal Sommherhus. Traditionally royal families use cabins as summer retreats from their castle’s in Norway. The Royal Sommerhus happens to be set up as Elsa and Ana’s cabin. Full of treasures from their childhood are on full display for all to enjoy is the ever popular character spot.
Food
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is the crown jewel of dining here in the Norway Pavilion. This is one of the most popular character meals. Be on the look out for several classic Disney princesses during this Princess Storybook Dining experience. Expect to see the following princesses:
- Snow White
- Cinderella
- Belle
- Princess Aurora
- Ariel
Breakfast is an all-you-care to enjoy meal including American and Norwegian fare. Lunch and dinner offer a variety of exquisite Norwegian flavors.
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe is home to one of our favorite snacks in all of Walt Disney World®, kringla (sweet pretzel). Currently this amazing bakery is undergoing major refurbishments and is currently slated to be closed until the summer of 2018. Don’t worry, during the refurbishment you can find some of the favorites from this location at the Midnattsol Bakeri kiosk in the meantime.

The Wandering Reindeer: Full of all things Frozen
The Puffin’s Roost: Here you will find vikings, trolls, books including the famous Hans Christian Andersen Fairy Tales, traditional snacks, jewelry, and clothing. We also highly recommend the fragrances especially Laila which one of Tammi’s favorites!
The larger than life troll in the shops makes for a great photo spot!
This is one of most favorite pavilions in all of World Showcase. Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy this great display of Norwegian culture!
