Christmas at Walt Disney World®

There is nothing more magical than being in Walt Disney World® during the holiday season. There are so many special events and awe inspiring decorations all throughout the entire Walt Disney World® resort. This week we will highlight some of the special Christmas experiences taking place at the most magical  place on earth.

Epcot International Festival of the Holidays

From mid November through the end of December you can experience the various Christmas and holiday traditions from each of the countries represented in World Showcase. From storytellers to music to the delicious food offers at the Holiday Kitchens the Christmas spirit is in full swing all throughout Epcot.  One of the most beautiful displays of the Christmas spirit is the Candlelight Processional. Each night a celebrity narrator is accompanied by a talented orchestra and choir to re-tell the Christmas story.

Sunset Season’s Greetings at Hollywood Studios

Tower of Terror is decorated for the Christmas season with state-of-the art projection technology that is second to none. Make sure you check out the billboards along the streets as classic Disney characters share their favorite holiday stories. Be sure to look up for some Disney magic as snow will periodically fall from the night sky!

Jingle Bell, Jingle Bam

Be sure to check out this amazing nighttime show that features one of our new Christmas movie favorites, Prep and Landing. The Chinese Theater is the canvas for a spectacular Christmas show full with fireworks and holiday cheer!

If you are into backstage tours like we are, then you will absolutely love Disney’s Yuletide Fantasy tour and Disney’s Holiday D-lights tour. These special tours  focus in on all the holiday magic that takes place in Walt Disney World®.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Of course we cannot forget this, which is the ultimate Christmas experience at Magic Kingdom. Click here to read our blog about Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

Christmas has always been our favorite holiday.
