When planning a Disney Destination vacation and you are asked…Value, Moderate or Deluxe?? Your brain might go on overload trying to make a decision. To be perfectly honest – that is what we are here for. We are here to guide you to a resort that is practically perfect in every way for your families needs! We can’t help but mention that our blogs should help narrow down your choices a bit as well. Keep these questions in our head or simply know that we might be asking you these as well. Are you looking to keep your vacation a budget or do you have a set price in your head of what you want to spend? Will you be spending much of your vacation at the resort? Are you interested in views or particular themes? Finally, how important is location to you? Personally, we do not spend much time in our resort (other than sleeping and showering), but location to us outranks everything. We are walkers and like to know that there are endless opportunities for us to walk rather than simply take the glorious resort transportation. But, let’s see what is important to you!

Theme: Each of the Disney Deluxe Resorts offer their very own magical theme and feel. Staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort? Then you guessed it – the theme is modern and super trendy. A Deluxe Resort is totally immersed their theme. The themes are not flashy, they surround you and take you to an entirely new dimension. Enjoy state of the art furniture and architecture that is not only decadent but imaginative as well. Staying in a Disney Deluxe Resort is a completely immersive experience re-imagined with Disney’s magical and style style.
Pools: If slides are important to you than prepare to be amazed at the slides in the Deluxe Resort Pools. They are large, themed, and watched carefully by lifeguards. There are also quiet pool areas, for those that would prefer to relax and catch rays without constantly hearing… “mom!” or “Marco” “Polo”! We cannot forget about the hot tubs. Before you wonder why anyone would want a hot tub in Florida, let me say that – A. Florida believe it or not does get cold. B. Your feet will thank you when they are finished throbbing. Believe it or not, guests will actually choose a Deluxe Resort for their amazing pools and slides.
Food: Have you ever had one of those “nothing sounds good to eat” kind of nights? Well, you won’t in Walt Disney World® period, but at a Deluxe Resort those words won’t even cross your mind. Disney’s Deluxe Resorts have the most incredible dining options of all Disney hotels. In each resort you will find at least one table (but usually a few) service restaurant, one fine dining restaurant, a counter service food court area, a lounge bar and a pool bar. The majority of the resorts also offer character dining.
Accommodations: Without a doubt, Deluxe Resort rooms are larger than Value and Moderate Resorts. At the Deluxe Resorts, the amenities are a bit more plentiful and luxurious. All rooms have a balcony area. Depending on your “view” you might even be able to watch Happily Ever After or IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth. My favorite amenity of them all is the one cup coffee machine accompanied with THE Joffrey’s Coffee K-Cups!
Activities: You will certainly not be bored while staying at a Deluxe Resort. Each resort offers on-site recreation such as watercraft rentals, carriage rides, jogging trails and outdoor movies under the stars. At the pool area you will find cast members leading activities and games. Even though calories do not count at Walt Disney World, Deluxe Resorts offer clean Health Clubs and some even offer relaxing spas. If you or your children are interested in the Kids Clubs, you will find them at the Deluxe Resorts. All resort guests (children) are welcome to be signed up for the Kids Clubs, however it is much more convenient for those guests already at the resort
Transportation: Staying at a Deluxe Resort means one thing – LOCATION! Your resort will be the closest to it’s “resort area” theme park. All Deluxe Resorts are placed magically their respective theme parks and all offer several transportation options. From walkways to monorails and boats, you are easily whisked to your desired destination with little to no wait. Many resorts offer walking paths to the park as well. Our home away from home is Disney’s BoardWalk Resort. Here, we not only enjoy the tastes and sounds of the activities, but we can walk to the Yacht and Beach Club as well as the Swan and Dolphin Resorts. If that isn’t enough – we can even walk to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot!
Club Level Service: Concierge level rooms, called “club level” are also available at every Deluxe Resort. For a little more moolah, guests staying in club level rooms have access to personalized concierge desk, and most importantly a delicious lounge that offers continental breakfast, afternoon snacks and hors d’ouevres, desserts and cordials each evening.
