O’ Canada: Epcot’s Canada Pavilion

There is plenty to see and do at the Canada Pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase. It truly is amazing work demonstrated by Disney’s imagineers to fit so much intricate landscaping to truly capture the vast differences of Canada. The centerpiece building is the Victorian style “Hotel du Canada”. This building takes inspiration from the Chateau Laurier, a historic hotel located in Ottawa. Additionally make sure to stop by the beautiful outdoor garden reminiscent of the Butchart Gardens, which can be found in Victoria. The Canadian Rockies including a 30 foot waterfall are also featured here. Totem poles and of course bountiful maple leafs can be found all throughout this amazing representation of Canada.

Attraction: O’Canada

This 360° circle vision takes you on a virtual panoramic view of Canada including Calgary,  Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Niagara Falls. Martin Short is the host of the attraction, which adds a whimsical comedic spin to the experience. Canadian Idol winner, Eva Avila sings the iconic “Canada (You’re a Lifetime Journey)” to a slideshow of  the people and places of this beautiful country.

Entertainment

Alberta Bound is a traditional Canadian folk band that you enjoy on Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Be sure to check your times guide and make sure you catch at least one of their shows during your vacation.

Food

Le Cellier Steakhouse, is hands-down one of the best restaurants on Walt Disney World® property. The theme of the  restaurant is the cellar of Canadian château. This exquisite signature dining experience is a very popular dining reservation that you will be sure to want to make as soon as you are able. We highly recommend the Canadian Cheddar Cheese soup.  The filet mignon is the absolute best steak we have ever had anywhere. You can also find a number of Canadian wine and beer options. This is one of our favorite restaurants!

There is also a outdoor vendor kiosk in the Canada Pavilion where you can find beer and snacks.
