Bon Voyage: Epcot’s France Pavilion

Disney’s Imagineers captured so many iconic components of France and it’s culture in this beautifully designed area. As you enter this pavilion coming from the UK Pavilion make sure you stop and take advantage of the photopass opportunity which will provide a stunning background for the 1/10 scale Eiffel Tower as a perfect backdrop. As you walk over the footbridge you will be transported into an area similar to the Seine waterfront, with flower carts and street-side artists. As you walk around the cobblestone streets or take a seat around the fountain you will be full immersed into everything that you think of when France comes to mind. Enjoy the romantic music throughout your exploration of this amazing pavilion.

Attractions

Impressions de France film is in the Palais du Cinema. Take a seat (yes this movie has seats which is a big plus compared to some of the other movies throughout World Showcase) during the 18 minute tour de France (pun totally intended). See the palace of Versailles, winemakers, hot air balloons and the celebration of Bastille Day.

One of the many exciting new announcements made during the 2017 D23 Expo was the addition of a Ratatouille ride to the France Pavilion. There will actually be an expansion made behind the Eiffel Tower. This 4-D trackless ride system will take guests through Gusteau’s Parisian restaurant as Chef Skinner will be chasing guests. This risde will be similar to Ratatouille: The Adventure, a very popular 4-D attraction that opened in Disneyland® Paris in 2014.
